It depends on the equipment and the hazards around it. During planning we agree with you what must be shut down, isolated or locked out, and we only go up once those conditions are in place.

A record of the conditions found, with the documentation of results defined in the contracted scope. Specialist testing or engineering assessments are only carried out where there is specific competence to do so, and the record does not replace inspections that the law reserves for designated bodies.
